Our people are at the heart of our success, so we want our workforce to be representative of the population. So if you have a disability as defined in the Equality Act 2010, we’d like to make your experience as positive and comfortable as possible. We believe that you are the best person to tell us what you need, so please let us know as soon as possible of any reasonable adjustments we can make, and any barriers that you might face in our working environment.
Check your eligibility
Before you start your application, check that you meet the minimum entry criteria. You can find the requirements for each programme here.
Next, complete your application form
It’s time to let us know why you’d be the perfect person for your preferred role. So complete your application form confirming your current qualifications (or predicted grades). Don’t forget to complete a letter of application too, showing us how you meet the essential criteria for the programme.
Sit back and wait for us to do our application sift
You don’t need to do anything at this stage. We’ll assess your application against the essential criteria for the programme. We progress applications based on merit and who best fits the relevant criteria.
Complete our assessments
If you’re shortlisted, we’ll ask you to complete some assessments that are aligned to our apprenticeship schemes. These may include psychometric testing and a group exercise.
Through to the next stage? We’ll invite you to attend a strengths-based interview
We’ll ask specific questions so that we can get an understanding of your basic knowledge of the subject area for the programme you’ve chosen. Plus, it’s a great chance for us to see your passion for your chosen scheme.
We’ll make a conditional offer and complete the relevant vetting
You’ll then go through our pre-employment enquiries, including checking your references and asking you to attend a medical assessment. Due to the secure nature of our work, we’ll need to vet you. This means you’ll be background checked for national security purposes.
